- It's 1 Bowl of Gramflour.
- You need 2 Bowl of curd.
- You need 2 Bowl of Water.
- It's 1 tsp of ginger chilli paste.
- It's To taste of salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 10-12 of curry leaves.
- Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1 tsp of fresh grated coconut.
- It's 1 tsp of sesame seed.
- You need 1.5 tsp of oil.
Khandvi(Gujarati Dish) step by step
- Take 1 bowl gramflour,2 bowl curd,2 bowl water & mix them with constant stirring to avoid lumps.After that add ginger chilli paste,salt & turmeric powder to it..
- Take a non stick pan & heat it & pour this prepared mixture in it & heat it at low flame for 8-10 minutes with constant stirring to avoid lumps..
- Now heat it again continuously on medium flame for another 10 minutes with constant stirring..
- Now take a plate grease with oil & put some batter on it & spread uniformly & cool it for some time & check perfect consistency with help of knife.(if it does not stick to plate & roll properly it means perfect consistency comes & switch off the flame).if it does not come heat it further..
- When perfect consistency comes switch off the gas & spread all batter on pre- greased plates uniformly & cool it for some time & after that cut with knife & roll these in shape of khandvi..
- Khandvi is ready.
- Now take a pan add some cooking oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves to it & roasted them properly.Now garnish khandvi with it,grated coconut & sesame seed..
